This Cookie Policy explains how iVisited uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your preferences. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. We use them to keep you signed in, remember settings, secure the Service, and, only with consent, understand how the site is used.
2. Categories we use
- Necessary, required for core functions such as authentication sessions, security, load balancing, and storing your cookie consent choice. These cannot be switched off in our consent tool.
- Analytics, optional cookies that help us understand traffic, popular destinations, and technical performance so we can improve the product.
- Marketing, optional cookies used for measuring campaigns or personalising promotional messages if enabled. We do not enable these without your consent.
3. Examples relevant to iVisited
- Session cookies for member and admin sign-in
- Preference storage for cookie consent (`ivisited_cookie_consent`)
- Optional analytics identifiers if you accept analytics cookies
Location verification itself uses browser geolocation APIs with your permission; that is separate from cookies, though related technical logs may still be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Managing cookies
On your first visit we show a consent banner. You can accept all optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or open detailed preferences. You can change your mind at any time:
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout from working correctly.
5. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or tools change. Check the “Last updated” date on this page for the latest version.
